Assuming a customer have these products:
No | Item & Description | Picture |
1 |
Magnetic door lock, adjust the amount to match the number of doors. In example: AL-280(LED). Connect to: - Panel RFID via 2 cable wiring v+ and v- Function: For lock / unlock the door. |
|
2 |
Panel RFID, adjust the amount to match the number of doors, min 2 unit without exit button or 1 unit with exit button. In example: ASI1201A-D Connect to: - Computer Network via utp cable - Panel RFID via 2 cable wiring v+ and v- Function: - For reading the RFID card, user tap the RFID card to this device to start reading process |
|
3 |
Card Enrollment, 1 unit. (OPTIONAL) In example: ASM100 Connect to: - Computer via USB port Function: For transferring user access data from computer to RFID Card |
|
4 |
RFID card, adjust the amount to match the number of user In example: any RFID card is possible
Function: - Its function is similar to key. User have this card can open the door. |
|
5 |
Computer (either laptop or PC), 1 unit The computer should be able to: - Install and run Software SmartPSS - Connected to network via cable UTP. - Connected to Card Enrollment via USB port
Function: - SmartPSS is used for transferring the data to Panel RFID via computer network. USB port connecting to Card Enrollment for transferring data from computer to the RFID card |
Setup diagram Scenario 1:
How It Works (Scenario 1):
1. All RFID card came with a unique serial number that can be read via Access Control (in this case ASI1201A / ASI1201A-D). The Access Control (in this case ASI1201A / ASI1201A-D) then will transfer the serial number to computer.
2. With the help from Smart PSS then computer will:
a. Create sequence number based on detected Access Control (in this case ASI1201A / ASI1201A-D).
b. Assign the sequence number to each card unique serial number.
3. This assignment (step 2b) then will be transferred to the Access Control (in this case ASI1201A / ASI1201A-D). to be memorized.
4. When user tap an RFID Card to Access Control (in this case ASI1201A / ASI1201A-D), then the access control will read the unique serial number form the RFID card then compared with unique serial number stored inside the Access Control (in this case ASI1201A / ASI1201A-D).
If the unique serial number between stored inside the Access Control and the RFID Card matched each other, then Access Control will control the Door Magnetic Lock (in this case AL280(LED)) to open the door.

How It Works (Scenario 2):
1. All RFID card came with a unique serial number that can be read via Card Enrollment Reader such as ASM100 ASM100-D.
2. The Card Enrollment Reader then will transfer the serial number to computer.
